Types of white tea
From then, there have been several types of white tea varieties, which include:
Bai Hào Yin Zhen: we also know it as a silver needle. It is among the most expensive white tea varieties, produced from the bud of the plant. It is produced in the high-elevation regions, mainly the Darjeeling and Nilgiris nowadays.
Bai Mudan: We also know it as a white peony. We produce it from the young leaves. Because of partial oxidation of leaves, it has a strong flavour. This tea serves various health benefits which include liver support, good kidney health among others.
Shou Mein: It is also called eyebrow white tea. After using the first few leaves, they make this tea from the remaining leaves. Its flavours resemble that of oolong tea.
Darjeeling white tea: They produce it in Darjeeling and not from the native regions of China. Producing this tea is like that of Fujian tea.
